*A little bird told me something about* **REWARDS**
We’ve been testing a new formula to ensure that rewards become more and more favorable for our players throughout the weekend.
Our testing has been relatively successful, and we are going to implement the new changes now.
**To give you some more insight into which changes were made, please check the list below:**
The **goal **is to make earnings **consistent**; Modest profits should be **available frequently **if enough **skill **comes back into the **game**. Your power will matter compared to the average, a LOT MORE than before.
Think of it as spreading out the juicy hours
> *we’ll still have some juicy hours, but it may have to be manually started by the dev team. And if you have power much higher than average, each cycle could be a bit juicy for you!*
Each **hour **we will release an “**allowance**” to be **earned **by **players**. This is a portion of the **reward pool**. This way, every **cycle **should have a bit of **profit**, so people with different schedules and **timezones **have a fair chance to **earn**.
The **hourly **allowance will run out if too **many **people **fight**, making the rest of each cycle earn 0 **skills**. This way, we have a **consistent**, lower breakeven point in **power**, but you may have to wait for the next **hour **to start if the **allowance **is already **drained**.
Daily skill claims will be very consistent; you won’t have to wait for a juicy hour to claim.

The **numbers** will be **refined **in the following **days **and **weeks **as we get analytics on the level of **engagement**. So even though we aim to be **consistent**, more minor **changes **are expected to find a good balance between **profitability**, breakeven point and longevity of hourly **rewards**.
Because we are **updating **the numbers manually for now, if there are big swings in gas or token prices, it might take a **while **to get back on track. This will be **automated **later on.
**BSC **will be less **consistent **than other chains because of the **high **gas prices. Some **optimizations **are coming soon to fights, in any case.
